A highly respected CPA firm with a strong client base of successful individuals estates trusts partnerships and corporations is seeking a Tax Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with 6 years of public accounting tax experience to step into a client-facing leadership role with future shareholder potential.
What you will be doing:

Perform technical reviews of tax returns and financial statements prepared by staff

Research and resolve complex tax issues including IRS matters
-
Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to clients
-
Manage client relationships for assigned accounts
-
Mentor and manage staff members to support their development
Experience you will need:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
-
Active CPA license
-
6 years of public accounting tax experience
-
Strong background in reviewing tax returns and managing staff
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills
-
Knowledge of QuickBooks and Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite is a plus
