Job Description
This is a hybrid/onsite position requires onsite minimum of 2 times during the 12 week internship
The IT Security Trainee is an entry level position which provides exposure to the Information Technology Security program. The Trainee provides basic support to a manager or supervisor as related to the day to day operations office operations basic data entry and review etc. Duties may also include performing basic cyber security research supporting administrative processes assisting with the implementation of IT Security initiatives and other duties as required.
Responsibilities
1. Performs basic administrative and data entry functions.
2. Gathers assembles and files documents as needed.
3. May be called upon to be part of a large file scanning or data assembly initiative.
4. May sort and deliver mail as necessary.
5. Performs other related duties assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or greater depending on department and role.
- None though some administrative exposure is a plus
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $16.50 - $30.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience education and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
