Our Network Operations Engineer will provide critical support to the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Program operating under the Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group (MCCOG). You will lead the design deployment and optimization of PKI technologies across the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) ensuring secure communications and cryptographic services. This role includes supervisory responsibilities over junior engineers and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment and management of Certificate Authority (CA) infrastructure using Microsoft ADCS Keyfactor EJBCA and Red Hat CA.
- Oversee PKI systems and supporting technologies including OCSP CRLs HSMs VMware and NetApp SANs.
- Provide Tier III troubleshooting and technical leadership across PKI services.
- Develop and maintain DR COOP and configuration management documentation.
- Drive compliance with cybersecurity standards including STIGs IAVM and RMF.
- Supervise and mentor junior network engineers.
- Coordinate with internal Marine Corps teams and external vendors.
- Lead testing and implementation of new PKI technologies and enhancements.

Qualifications :
- U.S. Citizen
- Active or obtainable Top Secret DoD Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Seven (7) years of direct PKI/network operations experience in a DoD or classified environment
- Supervisory experience in technical or engineering teams
Certifications:
- IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security CE CCNA Security Training CySA GICSP GSEC).
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent.
- One or more of the following: CCNA VMware VCP NetApp NCTA.
Preferred
- Experience with event and incident management including ticket tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with SharePoint for documentation task tracking and operational planning.
- Expertise in troubleshooting Windows/Unix hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of PKI integration with mobile platforms and tactical networks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Able to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Accurate and precise attention to detail.
Additional Information :
This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next 2 months at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
