Job Summary
Based in Dallas TX (Hybrid)
Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian Mexican and French citizens). We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g. H-1B).
We are looking for a Pega Engineer with strong Java expertise to support the design development and rollout of key features for one of our financial-services clients. The role focuses on Pegas Smart Investigate module while also contributing to Java-based integrations and backend logic enabling scalable and secure solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack applications with strong focus on security design validation and SDLC standards
- Leverage Java for backend components integrations and custom extensions of Pega applications
- Collaborate with product managers business operations and engineering teams to define product requirements and objectives
- Participate in system design and platform architecture discussions
- Build resilient scalable and secure modules leveraging cloud-native services
- Develop integration flows using REST SOAP and Java-based connectors where applicable

Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Pega frameworks in the banking sector
- Hands-on experience with Pega Smart Investigate
- Solid experience coding in Java including OOP integration patterns and debugging
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Strong knowledge of algorithms data structures and software design principles
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving multi-directional environment
Nice to Have
- Pega certifications such as CSSA or CLSA
- Experience in financial services ideally in corporate cash management
- Strong communication skills drive and ownership
- Experience with AWS services
