System Administrator

About the Role:

We re looking for a skilled and proactive Systems Administrator to take ownership of our IT infrastructure and ensure everything runs smoothly securely and efficiently. You ll play a central role in maintaining servers networks backups and endpoints across multiple operating systems while also supporting day-to-day user needs and driving long-term improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide user & help desk support resolving technical issues quickly and effectively
  • Manage server administration ensuring high availability and performance
  • Oversee network administration including monitoring configuration and security
  • Maintain backup & disaster recovery plans to protect critical data
  • Handle endpoint & security management enforcing cybersecurity best practices
  • Support desktop & device management across the organization
  • Administer software systems ensuring smooth deployment and upgrades
  • Keep documentation up to date and identify opportunities for process improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field
  • 5 years experience as a Systems Administrator (or in a similar role)
  • Relevant System Engineer certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms backup solutions and network monitoring tools
  • Experience with Ubiquiti networking hardware is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a solutions-focused mindset
