Position: VDC Coordinator (Remote)
Reports to: Director VDC
Location: Alabama Arkansas Florida Georgia Idaho Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Michigan Mississippi Missouri Montana Nebraska Nevada New Hampshire North Carolina North Dakota Ohio Oklahoma Pennsylvania South Carolina South Dakota Tennessee Texas Utah Vermont Virginia West Virginia Wisconsin Wyoming.
Pay Range: $42 - $53 per hour (Eligible for Overtime)

The Superior is looking for a highly motivated and organized VDC Coordinator to join our fast-paced team. This fully remote position will work on a number of innovative and exciting projects in a variety of market sectors including datacenters higher education healthcare enterprise and industrial projects.
This fully remote position is open to candidates who reside in one of the following states:

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D layout drawings to be used for BIM modeling or for facility installation
- Prepare facility installation and prefabrication drawings
- Prepare panel pull sheets with circuitry and wire information
- Coordinate and interface with project management staff
- Review project drawings specifications and submittals
- Provide QA/QC reviews of installation drawings and BIM models to ensure compliance with contract documents and best construction practices
- Contribute to developing department BIM/Layout standards
- Attend project BIM coordination meetings and technical committee meetings
Your Characteristics

- You have the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and the willingness to learn new processes
- Youre able to exercise confidentiality and discretion at all times when dealing with sensitive data and information
Your Expertise
- Required: You have at least of 5 years of experience as a commercial electrician or an electrical engineer
- Required: You have experience with power distribution 120V/480V up to 15kV including switchgear panels generators UPS raceways and transformers
- Required: You have experience in reviewing electrical design drawings specifications and equipment submittals
- Required: You have experience in healthcare data centers industrial and/or higher education facilities
- Bonus Points: You have experience with fire alarm telecommunication security EPMS and BMS
- Bonus Points: You have experience in preparing 2D layouts or installation drawings for construction job sites
- Bonus Points: You have familiarity with the NEC and other construction industry codes and standards
- Bonus Points: You have familiarity with modeling software such as REVIT Navisworks Bluebeam
