Job Opportunity: Material Handling Laborer
Location: Granite City IL U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary National Supply Center
Start Date: December 2025
Schedule: Full-Time
Hands-On Role in Supporting U.S. Coast Guard Logistics
Do you enjoy physical hands-on warehouse work and being part of a team that supports national operations The Material Handling Laborer plays a vital role in daily warehouse operations at the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary National Supply Center (ANSC) helping to ensure safe efficient movement of materials.
What Youll Do
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Move and stage pallets boxes and containers.
- Assist with batch picking sorting and routing of filled orders.
- Perform routine forklift maintenance (fueling lubricating).
- Dispose of packaging and maintain a clean safe warehouse environment.
- Support order fulfillment and shipment preparation.

- A hands-on worker who enjoys physical tasks and teamwork.
- Detail-focused and safety-minded.
- Reliable and adaptable to changing warehouse needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of five years of warehouse experience.
- U.S. Citizen or legal resident able to pass NACI/FBI background check.
- Ability to operate forklifts lift trucks and related equipment.
- Physical stamina for lifting loading and moving materials.
