Job Description

The Manager Clinical Development Portfolio Analytics provides both tactical and strategic insights into Clinical Development Scientific Innovation and Skincare (CDSI-SC) operational data to ensure optimal performance of key functions and successful strategic delivery. He/she/they curate and analyze metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to proactively monitor organizational performance and recommend targeted improvements that enhance business efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. The Manager Clinical Development Portfolio Analytics supports the Head of Clinical Strategy and Transformation by managing the CDSI-SC asset clinical trial and strategic initiative portfolio coordinating functional governance and facilitating interactions with enterprise governance bodies.
  2. He/she/they lead project management and support by coordinating project teams to deliver strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives. The Manager monitors project scope timelines and resources to deliver quality outcomes mitigate issues foster team collaboration and ensure the implementation of contingency plans.
  3. The Manager regularly performs data-driven analyses to generate actionable insights regarding the CDSI-SC portfolio of assets and strategic initiatives identifying key patterns trends and potential risks that inform decision-making and promote organizational success.
  4. He/she/they develop effective data visualization tools and presentations ensuring that operational metrics and analytical insights are communicated clearly and engagingly to stakeholders always tailoring outputs to stakeholder comprehension levels and strategic objectives.
  5. The Manager oversees and drives business process improvements ensuring operations are efficient and well-aligned with organizational strategies. He/she/they identify cross-functional opportunities for optimization and lead efforts to implement solutions that enhance both process and system effectiveness.
  6. He/she/they coordinate information management strategy execution collaborating with various teams to maximize value from business data solutions while supporting the organizations strategic goals. The Manager regularly evaluates data management practices in response to technological changes and coordinates initiatives to ensure data quality consistency and accuracy.
  7. The Manager develops foundational resource models and leads resource allocation ensuring the use of effective tools for optimizing workforce planning. He/she/they conduct analyses to adapt resource deployment to organizational needs and changing dynamics providing insights that enhance operational efficiency.
  8. He/she/they generate comprehensive reports that align with organizational goals providing insights to support strategic decisions and inform executive leadership. The Manager customizes outputs to emphasize strategic priorities identify potential risks and coordinates ad hoc reporting initiatives to address urgent data needs swiftly.
  9. The Manager maintains proactive and effective communication with stakeholders facilitating continuity and strategic alignment across projects. He/she/they lead regular updates and feedback sessions to foster engagement and use diverse communication methods to clearly convey project objectives and achievements.
  10. He/she/they drive supportive innovation by proposing and implementing creative solutions to elevate operational and analytic processes. The Manager remains current on industry trends and best practices encouraging the team to adopt innovative approaches that promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical scientific or project management-related discipline with at least 5 years of professional work experience in clinical development operations management data analytics or the pharmaceutical/biotech industry; OR a Masters degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques business operations and basic quantitative analytics.
  • Excellent technology skills including experience with project management software and business intelligence/analytics tools.
  • Prior work experience specifically in clinical development or within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cross-functional project team leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with the drug development process.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and develop sound strategies.
  • Proven strong leadership skills including clear written and verbal communication ability to present and justify proposals logically sound judgment negotiation and conflict management and fostering teamwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams and cultures.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing situations.
  • Ability to effectively influence communicate and build consensus among stakeholders.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
