Key Responsibilities
Lead the school with warmth and positivity creating a welcoming environment for all students and families.
Support students by modeling respectful behavior addressing concerns with care and celebrating their successes.
Partner with teachers to maintain strong instruction and smooth classroom operations.
Ensure safety across the building while also cultivating a school culture where students feel seen heard and valued.
Communicate openly and kindly with staff students and families to keep everyone informed and connected.
Handle discipline with fairness and empathy focusing on growth responsibility and restorative practices.
Step in confidently during unexpected situations making decisions that prioritize student well-being.
Carry out necessary administrative tasks always keeping students at the heart of decisions.
Attends administrative meetings as required.
Participates in professional activities designed to enhance competency.

Qualifications :
What you bring to the table:
Bachelors degree required Masters degree required
Administrative credential or current enrollment in an administrative credentialing program required
Demonstrated success as a principal (at least 5 years) in an urban school
An uncompromising belief that all students can learn
A relentless work ethic and a high degree of patience to push through difficult challenges
The ability and commitment to use data and regular assessment to inform instructional decisions
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and administrators
Outstanding public speaking and writing skills
Technological proficiency and adaptability
Excellent organizational skills
The desire and humility to grow as a leader
