Job Description
- Analyzes accounting records including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy completeness and conformance to standards defined within the department.
- Reviews records of accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate auditing process with external auditors.
- Oversee monthly reconciliation and financial reporting for all receivables and payables.
- Assist with budget preparation and management.
- Develops systems for the maintenance of financial records making use of current technologies.
- Creates forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel.
- Keep up to date on current trends practices and developments in the accounting and finance profession.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing complex environment and learn new concepts.
- Fluency in written and spoken English French and Spanish with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment maintain a professional image pay close attention to details and manage deadlines.
- Bachelor s degree in accounting or equivalent number of years of experience plus three years of accounting experience.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Tanzanian nationals only.
