Job Summary
Are you passionate about international trade compliance and providing exceptional customer service Join Expeditors as a Customs Brokerage Agent and play a vital role in ensuring smooth and timely customs operations while supporting our clients and collaborating with a global logistics leader.
What Youll Do:
- Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow.
- Enter accurate data into operational systems and maintain compliance records.
- Track and trace customs files providing timely reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage accurate and timely client billing.
- Interpret and apply import/export desk-level operating procedures.
- Transfer customs declaration information into the entry system to build valid declarations.
- Verify customs documentation and submit to authorities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations at all times.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
- Knowledge of logistics and the global supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of customs brokerage processes and legislation.
- Familiarity with ocean road and air documentation.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive approach with strong organizational and computer skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Fluent in English.
