Applications Management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications including deployment monitoring maintenance and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.
As a .Net Support Engineer you will be part of one or more teams that are offering support and maintenance for our clients. This includes performing incident management activities change management activities continuous improvement activities while also being open to do standby/on-call activities during weekends/public times when the applications and platforms in scope are stable there is also the need to develop new features based on the priorities on the roadmap.
This role is part of the School of Application Management program a multi-week learning program that combines self-paced study practical assignments and ongoing assessments throughout the programs duration.
Qualifications :
- 1-2 years of experience development or support
- Experience with C# and with knowledge Core 5 frameworks
- Knowledge of front-end technologies
- Experience with Object-Relational Mapping frameworks
- Familiarity with logging tools and advanced debugging techniques
- Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks
- Knowledge of reporting tools and experience with data visualisation libraries
- Understanding of web services (SOAP and RESTful APIs) and microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL Server and database management including performance tuning and query optimisation
- Experience in version control systems (preferably Git) and branching strategies
- Some knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps including experience with automated testing and deployment
- Experience with application monitoring performance optimisation and troubleshooting in production environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle on-call responsibilities
- Experience with Agile methodologies and ITIL practices
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the technologies and best practices
