THE JOB
We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a Data Center Engineer for a project in the telecommunications sector.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Design of data centre IP and network security devices that integrate with the rest of the country network.
- Definition and delivery of technical solution designs with the appropriate dimensioning scalability that are cost effective.
- Creation and maintenance of High Level and Low Level Designs for existing and new infrastructure.
- Interface with Operations teams to define plan and schedule network activities and interventions.
- Report and provide updates on inflight projects and highlight risks to programme teams.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- An academic degree and/or at least 5 years work experience in a Telecom / IT organization supporting large heterogeneous IP network infrastructures
- Solid knowledge of IP network design / architecture
- Excellent knowledge on some the following network nodes and vendors:
- Cisco Router/Switches (Nexus iOS Catalyst)
- Cisco ACI
- FortiNet (FortiGate FortiAnalyzer FortiManager)
- Fluent English oral and written
- Good knowledge of IP and Security best practices (CCNP CISSP certification are a plus)
