Scientific Writer & Content Creator

The Scientific Writer & Content Creator is a key member of the commercial team responsible for supporting global business operations by identifying emerging scientific topics developing insights from the organizations asset repository and creating various forms of scientific content. This role is crucial for supporting Eurofins Discoverys marketing growth strategies and promoting its marketing efforts in scientific fields through effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will report to the Director of Marketing Operations and work closely with Marketing Managers Product Managers and various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This role requires somebody who can scale up content creation in a compelling way to demonstrate Eurofins Discoverys end-to-end offerings with the goal of attracting new customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scientific writing: Develop outlines and create content for scientific assets: white papers application notes case studies scientific posters blogs and other publishable formats.
• Content creation: Create compelling scientific copy/content by combining technical knowledge and creative flair while instilling the brand voice to engage and persuade our drug discovery target audience. Various content channels include websites social media advertising etc.
• Industry insights: Identify and investigate industry and market relevant scientific topics for content creation.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with marketing content and analytics teams to ensure campaign alignment and effectiveness and work with Web Master & Developer for technical SEO optimisations.

Qualifications :

• Ph.D. Masters degree or Bachelors degree in any related sciences (Biology Chemistry Biochemistry etc.)
• At least 3 years of experience in a scientific writing role or a similar function.
• Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• An understanding of biology chemistry or life science.
• Strong track record of scientific authorship including scientific journals papers news articles blogs etc.
• Ability to create and reformat different styles of scientific writing suitable for various target audiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed to meet client deadlines.
• Experience working in an international and matrix organisation & comfortable navigating within this ecosystem.
• Broad knowledge in corresponding scientific field and ability to quickly learn related areas.
