Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of QC and R&D to lead the overall quality control and product development functions ensuring all products meet internal standards and external regulations. The role is responsible for maintaining consistent product quality driving innovation through R&D and supporting cross-functional teams in product improvement and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality control operations ensuring raw materials and finished goods comply with defined specifications and industry standards.
- Drive R&D initiatives for new product development and continuous improvement of existing formulations.
- Liaise with production procurement and technical teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventive actions.
- Oversee lab testing protocols calibration documentation and reporting systems.
- Lead and mentor the QC & R&D teams ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Evaluate new raw materials support cost-optimization efforts and manage technical trials.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Masters degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Materials Science.
- 1012 years of experience in Quality Control and/or R&D preferably in construction chemicals or related industries.
- In-depth knowledge of testing standards (ASTM EN BS) chemical compatibility and formulation chemistry.
- Strong leadership analytical and problem-solving skills.
