POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and managing various financial documents ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions and providing valuable insights to support our clients decision-making processes. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and improving current accounting practices
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Manage all accounting transactions such as but not limited to preparation of financial statements accounts payable and receivable basic job cost account analysis and reconciliation year-end audit.
- Oversee full-cycle accounting ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations including preparation and submission of tax returns and documentation.
- Manage inventory records ensuring accurate tracking and valuation of inventory.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Collaborate with both external and internal personnel to execute functions and liaise with banks for payroll account openings updates and transactions.
- Process and manage payroll.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in financial processes then design and execute improvements.
WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE
- Bachelors degree in accountancy or any equivalent degree.
- CPA license is a plus
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in accounting software or tools like SAP QuickBooks Xero NetSuite or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
