Executive Assistant
Salary:$1700 to $2500 per monthSchedule: Working from 9am to 5pm PST Monday to Friday
Role OverviewAbout the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This Accountant role will have broader financial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge be proficient in QuickBooks and have experience handling financial reporting payroll and accounts management. Preference will be given to candidates with Canadian accounting experience and CPA or Chartered Accountant credentials.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial planning.
- Maintain financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
- Support tax preparation and submissions to the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency).
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial processes.
- Provide operational support as needed.
- Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and confidentiality.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- CPA or Chartered Accountant designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. (Essential)
- Experience with Canadian accounting practices is an asset.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal and external teams.
