Job Description
How youll make an impact
As our Senior Dental Assistant youll be an integral part of our clinical team responsible for:
- Providing advanced chairside support across a variety of general dental procedures
- Leading sterilisation and infection control processes to the highest standard
- Managing clinical stock supplies and inventory to keep the practice running smoothly
- Mentoring and training junior Dental Assistants fostering a supportive learning environment
- Confidently using Exact software for scheduling and clinical notes
- Stepping in to support reception and administrative tasks as needed
This is a varied and rewarding role where your leadership and initiative will be highly valued.
Qualifications :
What were looking for:
- Must have 2-3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- NZDA certification is highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with calm professionalism
- A patient-focused mindset with excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Confidence with dental software and digital systems (e.g. Exact)
- A reliable punctual and proactive approach to your work
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role
- Enthusiastic smiling and positive personality
