Job Description

We are seeking dynamic Team Leaders and Supervisors to join our vibrant Food and Beverage team at the newly refurbished upscale Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort. Be part of one of Queenstowns most exciting F&B launches delivering unique dining experiences with panoramic Lake Wakatipu views. Under the guidance of legendary Chef Gerhard Gerber our menu showcases seasonal New Zealand produce including fresh seafood premium meats and organic vegetables paired with a curated selection of New Zealands finest wines and global distilled spirits.

  • Oversee smooth and efficient daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
  • Deliver exceptional service.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our unique food and beverage offerings.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team during service to ensure seamless quality and presentation.
  • Supervise train and mentor Food and Beverage Attendants.
  • Contribute to the success of a brand-new high-profile F&B operation in an iconic Queenstown location.

Qualifications :

To be a success in these positions you will have:

  • 12 months supervisory experience gained in a similar role.
  • 3 years experience working within a restaurant or hotel environment.
  • A current RSA certificate.
  • Solid understanding of alcohol (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
  • A high level of self-motivation and confidence.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar (preferred but not essential)
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
