Job Description

You will

  • Assist in setup and daily operation of sKids programmes ensuring smooth and engaging experiences for tamariki.
  • Play a key role in helping grow AWESOME Kiwi kids through supportive and inspiring programme delivery.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and care ensuring quality and safety in all activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and school communities.
  • Support and develop your team of staff members.

Hours & Location:
This role is based in Coatesville and involves 7 hours per week rostered across after-school (2:30pm6:00pm) programmes from Monday to Friday. There may also be opportunities for additional hours during school holiday programmes (7:00am6:00pm). You may also be required to work in other sites on the shore. Therefore preferred candidates needs to have a reliable transport or vehicle for this role.

Qualifications :

Were looking for someone who has

  • A strong passion for working with children aged 5-12 and helping inspiring them to develop their confidence along with the ability to be true to themselves. 
  • Previous experience working with children or working in the childcare/ education sector.
  • Previous experience in organizing before & after school programs is highly beneficial.
  • A strong communicator as you will be the face between sKids and the parents. 
  • A Valid NZ work/student visa or is a NZ resident or citizen. 
  • In order to comply with Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004 only applicants over the age of 20 years old can be considered for this role.
