Job Description
- Contribute to the design development and maintenance of applications SQL and Azure technologies.
- Work within Agile squads to deliver high-quality solutions while applying best practices such as TDD and BDD.
- Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps YAML Bicep and Azure CLI.
- Collaborate with product owners to ensure technical improvements are captured and delivered within sprints.
- Ensure application security and compliance with a focus on vulnerability management and Azure governance.
- Work across IAAS and PAAS environments including Azure App Services Functions Key Vault and Entra ID.
- Support and guide teammates in applying quality practices and improving development workflows.
- Engage in development squad practices (3 person squads) and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
- 10 years of overall IT experience including at least 4 years and SQL development.
- Minimum 4 years of Agile delivery experience.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML Bicep) and Azure CLI.
- Strong experience with the Azure technology stack (ADF App Services Functions Key Vault Entra ID).
- Proven track record with 8 Entity Framework Web APIs (Swagger REST OAuth) and Azure App Registrations.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks TDD mocking frameworks and BDD with Cucumber.
- Hands-on knowledge of Git and modern code management practices.
- Industry experience in banking/finance back-office environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Explain technical features to both beginner and advanced audiences.
- Steer teams toward continuous improvement in CI/CD and agile engineering practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers product owners and DevOps engineers.
- Prioritize security and compliance while building scalable and reliable solutions.
- Mentor team members in test-driven development agile delivery and modern coding practices.
