Job Summary

As a & Azure DevOps Engineer you will:

Contribute to the design development and maintenance of applications SQL and Azure technologies.
Work within Agile squads to deliver high-quality solutions while applying best practices such as TDD and BDD.
Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps YAML Bicep and Azure CLI.
Collaborate with product owners to ensure technical improvements are captured and delivered within sprints.
Ensure application security and compliance with a focus on vulnerability management and Azure governance.
Work across IAAS and PAAS environments including Azure App Services Functions Key Vault and Entra ID.
Support and guide teammates in applying quality practices and improving development workflows.
Engage in development squad practices (3 person squads) and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.

What You Bring to the Table:

10 years of overall IT experience including at least 4 years and SQL development.
Minimum 4 years of Agile delivery experience.
Expertise in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML Bicep) and Azure CLI.
Strong experience with the Azure technology stack (ADF App Services Functions Key Vault Entra ID).
Proven track record with 8 Entity Framework Web APIs (Swagger REST OAuth) and Azure App Registrations.
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks TDD mocking frameworks and BDD with Cucumber.
Hands-on knowledge of Git and modern code management practices.
Industry experience in banking/finance back-office environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

You should possess the ability to:

Explain technical features to both beginner and advanced audiences.
Steer teams toward continuous improvement in CI/CD and agile engineering practices.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers product owners and DevOps engineers.
Prioritize security and compliance while building scalable and reliable solutions.
Mentor team members in test-driven development agile delivery and modern coding practices.
