Position Overview
We are seeking for experienced Staff Test Engineers to support the development validation and deployment of automated test systems for power semiconductor devices including analog/mixed-signal ICs and high-voltage power components. Depending on your background you will focus on low-power integrated circuits or high-power discrete modules working across engineering NPI and manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality cost-efficient and scalable test solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop migrate and optimize automated test programs for board-level or semiconductor products.
- Lead the design implementation and validation of test systems including software and hardware integration.
- Collaborate with global design product and manufacturing teams to align on test strategies.
- Generate detailed test documentation (test specs validation reports release checklists).
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and yield improvement initiatives at subcontractor sites.
- Continuously improve testing efficiency reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional problem-solving.
High Power Focus – Discrete Power Components:
- Design custom high-voltage/high-current test setups for devices used in industrial EV and energy applications.
- Perform stress testing thermal analysis SOA validation and isolation testing.
- Develop test solutions requiring significant safety protocols and electrical isolation.
- Utilize partial discharge and transformer testing methods where applicable.
- Experience with test automation using LabVIEW/TestStand and high-power hardware platforms.
Low Power Focus – Analog/Mixed-Signal ICs:
- Develop and optimize test programs for highly integrated power management ICs.
- Work with platforms like ETS88 and ASL1000 for analog/mixed-signal test development.
- Program in C and work with computer hardware interfaces for ATE systems.
- Interface with OSAT partners to deploy probe and final test solutions.
- Drive improvements in test coverage cost and throughput.
