Job Description

  • Provide IT Users with technical support and advice regarding the proper use and functionality of Application  
  • Manage all production / non-production Application Environments.
  • Plan and coordinate with different teams to deploy software applications on Windows.
  • Ensure business continuity by restoring service and resolving production issues related to an application.  This can range from fixing code data or configuration files in production to rerunning processing cycles to correct data errors.
  • Provide corrective modificationscode changes to all the Applications are released either as emergency or planned releases 
  • Perform Unit testing of Applications after complex bug-fixes or enhancements - Identification and documentation of unit test cases for the enhancements Unit testing of the Applications after complex production fix or enhancements
  • Perform system testing for all code changes in scope and deploy the code change in QA environment for user acceptance testing 
  • Monitoring and Event Management of production applications/systems
  • Managing critical application failure 
  • Developing approved functional enhancements utilities or scripts
  • Developing approved reports using native application or third-party reporting tools 

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Application Analyst or Application Engineer (precisely on any Cloud platform)
  • previous experience in supporting applications 
  • Skill set should include SQL Azure Dev Ops Power BI Power Shell APIM resources HTML.
  • General knowledge on SSIS SSRS SSAS
  • General knowledge of desktop computing
  • Active Directory and User Account Management
  • Basic Network and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical support issues
  • Excellent customer Service communication skills (both verbal & written)
  • Familiar with the concepts of an ITSM ticketing platform (preferably ServiceNow) Incident change and SLA management knowledge.
