Job Description
As a QA Automation Engineer you will design build and maintain automated tests across frameworks ensuring high-quality software delivery. You ll collaborate closely with developers perform manual testing when needed and focus on creating automation that drives innovation and efficiency.
Your Daily Tasks
- Collaborate with Scrum teams to understand requirements and write automation in parallel with development
- Maintain and improve test automation frameworks focusing on Playwright
- Perform manual testing when needed ensuring comprehensive coverage
- Build test automation that supports high-quality software delivery
- Engage in cross-team collaboration to enhance testing practices and efficiency
- Contribute to secure scalable and user-focused QA solutions
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- 4 years of experience in testing web-based applications; manual and automated testing
- 2 years automated testing using Playwright
- Experience creating/maintaining Playwright scripts in Typescript
- Strong skills in Selenium (Java) and API testing with Playwright
- Browser compatibility testing experience
- Ability to work independently with strong ownership
- Attention to detail and focus on user experience
- Experience with Git-based environments and Agile teams
- Strong programming fundamentals and ability to write scripts
- Extensive UI and API testing experience
- Ability to create and modify test cases
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive mindset
Preferred Skills
- AI-assisted automation testing (Cursor or Copilot a plus)
- Load Testing (JMeter preferred)
- SQL (basic query writing a plus)
- Jira (a plus)
- Jenkins (experience executing automation tests a plus)
