Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and responsible Inventory Accountant to join the Finance Department at Swissotel Wellness Resort Alatau Almaty. The Inventory Accountant will manage accounting operations related to goods and material supplies ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in 1C and maintain up-to-date information on accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with suppliers of goods and material inventories including residents and non-residents.

  • Maintain accurate and complete information on accounts payable.

  • Timely record accounting transactions in 1C including processing of electronic invoices.

  • Ensure proper accounting of expenses related to the hotels goods and materials.

  • Receive verify and record primary accounting documents in both financial and tax accounting.

  • Participate in inventory counts of goods and reconcile data in MS and 1C systems.

  • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and payable prepare reconciliation acts with suppliers.

  • Maintain records of business contracts registers and tax invoices.

  • Provide data for preparation of quarterly tax reports and other required financial statements.

  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting processes deadlines and reporting standards.

  • Keep accounting records organized and ensure proper document storage.

  • Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Accountant and Director of Finance.


Qualifications :

  • Higher education in Economics Finance or Accounting.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards tax regulations and inventory accounting.

  • Proficiency in 1C Accounting software MS Office and other relevant financial systems.

  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

  • Attention to detail accuracy and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work with confidential information.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
