About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Finance Analyst to join our growing Finance Department. This pivotal role requires a professional with a solid foundation in accounting and finance ready to take on more complex responsibilities contribute to critical financial analyses and potentially mentor junior team members. The Finance Analyst will be instrumental in ensuring robust financial reporting improving processes and providing reliable financial data to support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing and performing complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts intercompany transactions and financial statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Review and post the transactions processed by team members ensuring adherence to the internal policies and accounting standards.
Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Assist in the preparation of management reports dashboards and financial presentations for manager/leadership.
Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline existing finance processes recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Actively participate in strengthening internal controls ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast providing regular updates and highlighting areas of concern.
Transforming complex financial data and analysis into clear concise and actionable reports dashboards and presentations for senior management and department heads.
Identify and implement process improvements within the finance department.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field. A professional certification or progress towards one is highly preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles (FP&A or audit experience is preferred).
Strong working knowledge of financial software and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheet.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
Proactive self-motivated and eager to learn new concepts and systems.
Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
