The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for the business segment. The primary goal is to maximize occupancy revenue and partnerships ensuring long-term relationships and high levels of client satisfaction. This role requires a strategic approach to identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with key accounts.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive occupancy and revenue from clients across all properties.
- Identify and target potential markets including multinationals local businesses and key industries.
- Set and achieve sales targets budgets and forecasts in alignment with the hotels overall revenue goals.
Account Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients ensuring high satisfaction levels and repeat business.
- Negotiate contracts rates and agreements with clients in collaboration with the Revenue Management department.
- Proactively address any client issues or concerns to maintain strong client partnerships.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and proactively approach potential clients.
- Work closely with the hotels team to develop packages offers and presentations that appeal to clients.
- Attend networking events industry forums and trade shows to build relationships and generate new leads.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales activities revenue performance and market insights for the DOSM and hotel management.
- Provide strategic recommendations for improving sales strategies to meet and exceed business objectives.
Collaboration with Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials campaigns and presentations specifically for clients.
- Assist in planning and executing events and promotional activities to drive awareness and engagement with accounts.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties and priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally if required.
- Proficiency in French language is an added advantage.
