Job Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for the  business segment. The primary goal is to maximize occupancy revenue and   partnerships ensuring long-term relationships and high levels of client satisfaction. This role requires a strategic approach to identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with key accounts.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive occupancy and revenue from   clients across all properties. 
  • Identify and target potential markets including multinationals local businesses and key industries. 
  • Set and achieve sales targets budgets and forecasts in alignment with the hotels overall revenue goals. 

Account Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients ensuring high satisfaction levels and repeat business. 
  • Negotiate contracts rates and agreements with clients in collaboration with the Revenue Management department. 
  • Proactively address any client issues or concerns to maintain strong client partnerships. 

Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities and proactively approach potential clients. 
  • Work closely with the hotels team to develop packages offers and presentations that appeal to   clients. 
  • Attend networking events industry forums and trade shows to build relationships and generate new leads. 

Reporting and Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. 
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales activities revenue performance and market insights for the DOSM and hotel management. 
  • Provide strategic recommendations for improving sales strategies to meet and exceed business objectives. 

Collaboration with Marketing

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials campaigns and presentations specifically for clients. 
  • Assist in planning and executing events and promotional activities to drive awareness and engagement with accounts. 

 

 


    Qualifications :

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field. 
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry. 
    • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. 
    • Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties and priorities effectively. 
    • Willingness to travel locally and internationally if required. 
    • Proficiency in French language is an added advantage.
