Job Summary
Within the context of high growth iad is continuously looking for new talents to join the Group. Italy is a dynamic and growing market and is looking for a native Italian speaker Finance & Accounting Specialist to join our local Finance team and support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and dynamic finance professional with a structured background in accounting and a strong interest in analysis and reporting. You will contribute to core accounting tasks support financial processes and assist in delivering ad hoc financial analysis.
- Lead accounting operations including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and balance sheet reviews.
- Ensure accurate financial data entry and reporting.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather relevant financial information and ensure completeness of records.
- Oversee the processing and reconciliation of payments ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Maintain and update cash flow reports and assist in cash forecasting.
- Help the Finance Manager to prepare financial forecasts variance analysis and monthly reporting packages in coordination with the FP&A team.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements within finance operations.
- Lead the audit process including preparing audit documentation and schedules.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of local accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Datev Koinos and Workday systems.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including pivot tables formulas and data analysis.
- High attention to details strong analytical thinking and a proactive solution-oriented mindset and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional and international environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with cash flow management & reporting is a plus.
