Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years expertise in structural design particularly in using Advanced Steel Software for modelling detailing and drafting. The role involves collaborating with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality designs for various structural projects.
You are expected to:
Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for structural steel projects using Autodesk Advanced Steel software.
Collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into workable solutions.
Create structural drawings layouts and fabrication details for steel structures.
Prepare fabrication drawings connection details and material lists with high precision for steel structures.
Interpret structural analysis outputs and implement necessary changes in the model.
Maintain project documentation and manage revisions efficiently.
Generate and manage detailed reports including BOMs assembly drawings and erection plan.
Requirements
You will be a Great fit if you have:
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or related field.
Experience with simple and combined cycle retrofits gas-based Power Plants up to 800 MW.
Experience in North American Projects and Proficient in codes such as ABS AISC ACI ASCE IBC ASME AWS API.
