Job Description
Job Title - Production Supervisor
Location - Coimbatore
Salary Range - per month
Experience Required- Minimum 3 Years
Main Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth workflow and timely output.
Monitor production processes identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
Ensure adherence to quality standards safety regulations and company policies on the shop floor.
Allocate tasks to production staff provide guidance and monitor performance.
Maintain proper documentation of production reports material usage and downtime records.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure smooth functioning of machinery and equipment.
Manage raw material usage to minimize wastage and control production costs.
Conduct periodic training for operators and workers on safety quality and process improvements.
Collaborate with planning quality and warehouse teams to meet delivery timelines.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce rejections.
Essential Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field.
Proven experience of at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing/production environment.
Skills Required
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Sound knowledge of production processes machinery and shop floor management.
Ability to analyze production data and prepare detailed reports.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems (preferred).
