Job Description
Junior Architect
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of architectural designs and plans.
- Conduct research on applicable building codes and regulations.
- Create detailed architectural drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with senior architects and engineers on project plans.
- Attend site visits to gather information and assess project conditions.
- Prepare presentations and design proposals for clients.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for project execution.
- Support in the preparation of project budgets and timelines.
- Review and revise designs based on client feedback.
- Prepare material specifications and documentation for projects.
- Contribute to the development of project reports and documentation.
- Document project changes and ensure design integrity throughout the process.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project status and design perspectives.
- Maintain an organized repository of project files and records.
- Stay updated with current trends in architecture and design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture/ Civil or related field.
- Internship or practical experience in architectural design is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit Sketchup and other design software.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Basic project management skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant design work.
- Keen interest in sustainable design practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
- Proficiency in sketching and concept development.
- Mattification and 3D modeling skills are advantageous.
- Passion for architecture and design.
