The HVAC & MEP Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects. This role involves analyzing project plans assessing material and labor costs and collaborating with project managers engineers and vendors to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
Should be using Procore Software for generating Estimates.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in HVAC and/or MEP estimating.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems materials and construction methods.
- Proficiency in estimating software (such as Bluebeam Accubid Trimble or PlanSwift).
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit preferred.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Work Environment & Salary:
- Typically works in an office setting with occasional site visits.
