Role: IT Risk & Controls Specialist
Job Role
We are looking for an experienced IT professional to handle risk assessments compliance frameworks and internal controls. This role will focus on identifying vulnerabilities performing audits ensuring compliance with standards and recommending mitigation strategies to safeguard systems and data integrity.
Key Skills
Risk Management Experience with frameworks like ISO 27001 NIST or COBIT
Controls Assessment Implementing testing and monitoring internal IT controls
Compliance Expertise Knowledge of SOX GDPR HIPAA or other regulatory requirements
Cybersecurity Knowledge Understanding of threats vulnerabilities and remediation
Audit & Reporting Risk documentation control testing and remediation tracking
Stakeholder Management Ability to communicate risk insights across teams
Tools Proficiency GRC tools (e.g. Archer ServiceNow) and risk assessment platforms
