Job Summary

Dougie Macis seeking a Compassionate and Skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our innovative Community Team. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality palliative and end-of-life care across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist you will:

  • Deliver holistic person-centred care for patients with life-limiting illnesses (e.g. cancer MND heart failure lung disease).
  • Work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team coordinating care and supporting patients and their families at home.
  • Contribute to service development audits and education of colleagues.
  • Use your leadership and communication skills to act as a patient advocate and role model in palliative care.
  • Benefit from ongoing professional development supervision and funded opportunities to enhance your skills and academic portfolio.

About You

Were looking for someone who is:

  • A Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post-registration experience.
  • Experienced in palliative or end-of-life care.
  • Skilled in communication leadership and teamwork.
  • Motivated flexible and committed to delivering the highest standards of care.
  • A car owner/driver (essential for community visits).
  • A development Clinical Nurse Specialist role would be considered for the right candidate

Salary:37000 - 48000 FTE per annum

Development Clinical Nurse Specialist:34000 - 37000 FTE per annum

Hours:37.5 hours a week (part time considered - 30 hours)

Predominantly Monday to Friday 9-5. Will be required to cover weekends to a rota.
