We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controller to join our team. This role is critical in driving financial excellence improving operational efficiency and supporting strategic decision-making. The Controller will have the opportunity to influence the financial direction of the company ensuring compliance optimizing processes and contributing to our continued growth and success.
Primary duties
- Team Supervision
- Coordinate and supervise the accounting team ensuring quality and efficiency in processes.
- Provide leadership mentorship and opportunities for professional growth within the team.
- Analytical Accounting and Costs
- Control and optimize analytical accounting systems to evaluate profitability by cost centers business lines or projects.
- Perform cost and margin analysis proposing improvements to the cost structure.
- Prepare performance reports and ensure accurate accrual of project revenues and expenses.
- Internal Control and Audit
- Ensure compliance with accounting and financial policies.
- Coordinate external audits and implement recommendations for improvements.
- Review the economic execution of internal and external projects.
- Tax Management
- Coordinate and ensure the correct and timely submission of taxes for the group companies.
- Collaborate with external advisors to ensure tax compliance across all jurisdictions.
- Accounts Receivable and Payable Control
- Supervise the management of invoices collections and payments ensuring deadlines are met.
- Optimize collection and payment cycles to improve cash flow and liquidity.
- Cash Flow Management
- Monitor treasury positions and create cash flow forecasts.
- Propose strategies to optimize liquidity and minimize financial risks.
- Reporting
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial closings.
- Develop financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Review economic justification reports for collaborative projects.
- Prepare internal closings for Teams BUs and the company.
- Financial Planning and Analysis Support
- Participate control and update annual budgets.
- Analyze deviations between budgets and actual results proposing corrective actions.
Qualifications :
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor in Business and Administration Management Economics or a similar field.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Italian or French is a plus
- Experience in auditing firm is a plus
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good knowledge of Office / Google drive suite (excel spreadsheets).
- Ability to work well in a team and in a dynamic environment.
