We are partnering with a fast-growing technology company that manages a massive e-commerce product catalog across multiple regions. The company is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Product Data team which handles billions of products and ensures accurate daily updates. The team works with high-performance technologies solving challenges around real-time data processing web scraping at scale and high-throughput product imports.
What Youll Be Doing
Develop scalable high-performance backend services using NestJS and TypeScript
Build and optimize web scraping systems capable of handling billions of products daily
Implement real-time data pipelines and stream processing using Kafka
Leverage in-memory caching (Redis) for fast data retrieval and updates
Work with distributed NoSQL databases to manage large-scale datasets
Collaborate in a cross-functional agile team contributing to architecture code reviews and knowledge sharing
Your Technical Skills
Strong experience with and frameworks like NestJS
Hands-on experience with Kafka or other stream processing tools
Proficient with Redis or other in-memory caching solutions
Experience managing NoSQL and SQL databases
Familiarity with cloud-native technologies Docker/Kubernetes and microservices architecture
Experience working with distributed systems at scale

Knowledge of graph databases or advanced storage solutions
Familiarity with high-performance high-I/O applications
Experience with data warehouses (BigQuery or similar) and monitoring/visualization tools like Grafana
