The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a professional to join our team of consultants as a Business Analyst with focus on ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). In this role you will be the key link between our clients business stakeholders and our technical teams helping them transform their legacy PMO toolset into a consolidated modern high-value solution built on the ServiceNow platform.
You will play a critical part in helping our clients manage their strategic portfolios more effectively. If you are passionate about translating business needs into functional reality and thrive in a client-facing environment this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-sale Solutioning and Scoping: Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and strategic objectives. Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to translate client needs into documented business requirements. Collaborate with the sales team to define the scope effort and value proposition for proposed engagements contributing to the development of compelling proposals & service offerings.
- Product Demonstration: Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations of the ServiceNow SPM module to showcase how the solution directly addresses clients business challenges. Articulate the value features and benefits of the platform in a clear and persuasive manner to a diverse audience including executive leadership portfolio managers and technical teams.
- Strategic Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with client Project Management Offices (PMOs) and finance departments to elicit analyze and document complex business requirements for strategic portfolio and resource management.
- Process Architecture & Optimization: Draw process maps and suggest opportunities for improvements of clients core SPM business processes.
- Functional Solution Design: Translate high-level client business needs into detailed functional specifications user stories and solution designs for the ServiceNow platform. This includes designing intuitive user interfaces automated workflows and performance dashboards.
- Delivery Planning & Roadmap Definition: Together with the team translate requirements into a clear delivery plan and roadmap. This includes highlighting key milestones and deliverables over time.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Serve as the primary liaison between client business stakeholders and our technical ServiceNow team facilitating clear communication building consensus and managing expectations to guarantee project success and adoption.
- Quality Assurance & Validation: Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) lifecycle to rigorously validate that implemented solutions are defect-free meet all requirements and deliver measurable business value.
Qualifications :
Essential Qualifications
- Profound technical knowledge of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platforms with direct experience in ServiceNow (preferred) or a similar enterprise-grade tool (Clarity PlanView Planiswareetc.).
- Expertise in process modeling and requirements management tools (e.g. Visio Lucidchart Miro Azure DevOps Jira Confluence).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management & delivery methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid) and an understanding of the full project lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Full professional proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- A consultative mindset with analytical and problem-solving capabilities coupled with a strong customer-centric approach.
Preferred (Desired) Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM).
- Experience in an Enterprise Architecture function and ability to demonstrate a grasp of architectural principles governance and business capability mapping is nice to have.
- ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture Accreditation is nice to have.
- Experience with the Application Portfolio Management (APM) module within ServiceNow is nice to have.
