Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join one of our clients in Cambridge ON. Its a temporary position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operations within our manufacturing and warehouse environments. This position requires a strong work ethic attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The Laborer will be responsible for assisting with production tasks assembly and general maintenance of the workspace.
Responsibilities
- Sweeping
- Loading/Un-Loading
- Packaging
- Strapping boxes
- Sorting materials
- Writing down weights
- Clear all pathways when snowing or debris
- Sorting material to put in correct bins
- Processing material
- Must be able to communicate with customers and staff.
- Ability to use power tools an asset
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts is an asset.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in assembly processes is a plus.
- A strong commitment to safety practices and procedures is essential
