What Youll Be Doing
As Cook II youll support our culinary operations with professionalism and creativity ensuring each dish reflects our high standards:
- Prepare cook and plate food items with precision and consistency
- Maintain high levels of kitchen cleanliness and food safety
- Assist in inventory management and stock ordering
- Follow kitchen policies procedures and safety protocols at all times
- Understand and execute menu items daily features and promotional offerings
- Deliver proactive and friendly service to guests and collaborate closely with colleagues
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations
Qualifications :
What You Bring to the Role
Were seeking a passionate culinary professional with the following qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a banquet or restaurant culinary setting required
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts is an asset
- Valid Food Safe certification required
- Creativity and passion for food and service excellence
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule: early mornings evenings weekends holidays and overnight shifts as needed
Physical Requirements (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout your shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional kneeling pushing pulling stair or ladder climbing

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
