Job Description

Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client we are seeking a Hydrogeologist to join our Calgary office and support a wide range of civil municipal and industrial infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to apply hydrogeological expertise across diverse sectors from water supply and watershed management to environmental impact assessments and groundwater monitoring. You will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team that works with clients to deliver practical sustainable solutions for complex water resource and environmental challenges.




Requirements

  • Plan coordinate and execute field programs including groundwater and surface water sampling well drilling and design borehole logging and aquifer testing.

  • Analyze field data and prepare technical reports on groundwater availability and quality water budgets monitoring programs dewatering groundwater-surface water interactions watershed management and environmental impact assessments.

  • Support civil municipal and industrial infrastructure projects with hydrogeological expertise to ensure effective water management strategies.

  • Manage or support projects by tracking budgets schedules and deliverables while maintaining clear communication with clients and contractors.

  • Contribute to business development through proposal preparation and technical input.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in geology or geoscience with a hydrogeology focus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience; consulting background preferred.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proven organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Field experience in remote or challenging conditions with a strong commitment to safety.

  • Proficiency in hydrogeological software for data analysis and modeling.

  • Knowledge of Canadian groundwater and surface water regulations and best practices.

  • Professional designation (./.) or eligibility within 2 years.

  • Valid driver s license.

Responsibilities: The Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following: Attend site meetings Serve as main point of contact for the builder for any project-related questions/requests Understand project specifications and objectives Proactively identify potential issues Report on milestone dates and deliverables Respond to field issues and questions with engineering and other resources as required Investigate claims promptly and resolve them fairly Proactive approach to change orders Support and engage in a collaborative work environment Liaise with Architect, Client, Contractor, Owner, Specialty Consultants, Project Manager, Job Captain and Project Engineer Complete time critical reports including Request for Information, Contemplated Revisions, Change Orders, Field Review, Pricing Review, Progress Claim Review Issue and sign off on Site Deficiency Reports, verify and accept As Built Drawings and Operational and Maintenance Manuals and ensure all require
