Reporting to the Software Team Manager you will help modernize the user interface of one of our main products by helping rewrite its legacy native desktop UI into a modern web-based frontend. As a Senior Frontend Engineer youll build dynamic responsive interfaces using ReactJS TypeScript and other modern technologies. Beyond implementation youll help shape the frontend architecture promote best practices and ensure the UI codebase remains clean scalable and maintainable.
What youll do:
- Develop modular reusable frontend components using React JS and TypeScript.
- Implement responsive UI layouts that adapt across devices and screen sizes.
- Manage application state using reactive patterns and modern state management tools.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests (e.g. Vitest Jest Cypress) to ensure UI stability and reliability.
- Use Git for source control and participate in pull request reviews and code discussions.
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs handling asynchronous data fetching error states and dynamic data presentation using modern protocols (e.g. REST SOAP).
- Apply performance optimization techniques such as code splitting lazy loading and bundle analysis.
- Participate in sprint planning technical design reviews and UI/UX feedback loops.
Qualifications :
What youll bring:
- Around 5 years of experience with TypeScript and React JS.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Experience building and test complex data-driven user interfaces.
- Discipline in writing automated tests as part of standard development workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and collaborative team environments.
- ReactJS: 5 years of hands-on experience.
- TypeScript: Comfortable with typings generics and interfaces.
- Git: Daily use of Git with PR workflows and branching strategies.
- API Integration: Experience fetching and managing data from backend services using modern protocols (e.g. REST SOAP) within React applications.
Additional Skills Considered a Plus
- Experience with any backend language (Java or C preferred).
- Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Docker.
- Exposure to big data technologies such as Apache Spark especially when used with Scala.
