Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving sales procurement and market expansion within the coffee industry. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills deep market insight and the ability to build and maintain client relationships while aligning with global business strategies.

Reports to: Managing Director

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Market Development

  • Drive sales growth by identifying new customers and opening new markets.
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets and contribute to the companys growth rate.
  • Set up promotional marketing and educational events with target clients across Australia.

Client Relationship Management

  • Nurture grow and expand the client base through industry experience prior relationships and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain strong communication and engagement with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Strategic Planning & Market Research

  • Conduct market analysis and propose tailored business strategies for different regions.
  • Align market strategies with the global development plan of the company.
  • Monitor daily market exposure and make informed decisions to support trading strategies.

Procurement & Origin Coordination

  • Oversee purchasing activities in collaboration with origin teams.
  • Establish purchase plans aligned with global strategy and optimize global P&L.
  • Follow up on shipment schedules and ensure smooth business execution.

Quality Assurance

  • Participate in daily cuppings and other QA-related activities to maintain product standards.

Risk Management

  • Monitor client drawdown paces shipment schedules and ensure timely payments.
  • Mitigate risks by maintaining close communication with clients and origin teams.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support general office operations and logistics for incoming shipments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to set up and manage various strategic projects.
  • Contribute ideas suggestions and market intelligence to support global growth initiatives

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in sales procurement and strategic planning within the coffee industry.
  • Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments contributing to cross-functional collaboration and shared goals.
