Job Description

Join Griffith Universitys Centre for Mental Health and contribute to a clinical trial designed to improve outcomes for people living with severe mental illness. Working within Professor Amanda Wheelers research group youll play a key role in collaborating with researchers services and people with lived experience to design and evaluate meaningful solutions.

As a Research Fellow you will:

This is a fixed term (2-year appointment) part-time position (0.2FTE) and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level RF1 range $88689 - $103888 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $103766- $121548 per annum.

Griffith Universitys sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

To be successful in this role you will have a completed PhD (or equivalent qualifications/work experience) in a relevant addition to this you will have:

  • Proven experience in mixed-methods research particularly in conceptualising research writing protocols and publishing findings.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage costs timelines and resources effectively.
  • High-level interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with researchers clinicians and community partners.
  • Experience working independently and in a team with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. Experience in graduate student supervision is also desirable.
  • A high level of scientific literacy as well as verbal and written communication.
