Job Summary
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor with Trackless experience to join their mining company based in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Ensured health and safety compliance by applying standards and procedures in all maintenance activities.
- Co-developed and implemented SOPs for inspection testing and reconditioning processes.
- Oversaw preparation packaging and dispatching of components to ensure compliance with quality and warranty standards.
- Applied SOPs to enforce strict quality controls when receiving refurbished units.
- Drove a culture of quality compliance and continuous training within the reconditioning team.
- Conducted supplier audits and resolved non-conformance or quality issues effectively.
- Led process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensured compliance with quality management systems for reconditioned spares.
- Monitored and evaluated reconditioning processes to maintain adherence to specifications and standards.
- Managed and controlled departmental budgets to align with operational requirements.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Relevant Trade Test Certificate
- 5 years experience working as an Artisan within a Trackless mining environment
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience within the mining industry.
- Valid Drivers License
