Location: Ashford TN24 0PS
Shift Pattern: Days 06:00-18:00 & Night 18:00-06:00 20 hours per week
PAY RATE: 14.19 per hour

As a Security Officer with ABM UK you will be entrusted with great responsibility ensuring that our clients property and personnel are secure. This role requires a proactive approach to security strong observation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols around the assigned premises to monitor for any irregularities
- Operate and monitor security systems including access control and CCTV
- Respond effectively to alarms and security incidents taking appropriate action as required
- Provide a high standard of customer service to clients guests and staff
- Prepare and maintain accurate security reports of all incidents inspections and maintenance issues
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and company policies
Requirements
- Prior experience in a security-related role is preferred but not mandatory
- Valid SIA license is required
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
