As the Booking Model Controller within the Corporate and Investment Banking Product Control Governance team you will engage in strategic projects aimed at transforming our operations and phasing out outdated systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Booking Model and Product Controllers Corporate Technology and the Program Management Organization to promote meaningful change. This role provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions are valued and recognized.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaboratewith teams on the design and implementation of a new booking model tool.
- Partnerwith stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and determine necessary new functionalities for booking model reporting.
- Conduct thorough testing of the new functionalities.
- Contribute to the development and continuous governance of booking model processes.
- Provide production support to users addressing any issues or queries promptly.
- Establish booking model best practices and ensure compliance with the Firms policies and standards.
- Engage in identifying and proposing solutions to enhance controls and efficiencies within the booking model team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with PMO Technology LOBs and other functions.
- Prepare and present materials to senior management.
- Handle ad-hoc requests as needed.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Control Business Management or Regulatory Reporting.
- Deep understanding of balance sheet P&L risk and accounting concepts.
- Familiarity with financial products including derivatives.
- A detail-oriented creative self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in leading innovative projects and driving change.
