Status: Full-Time Salaried FLSA Classification: Exempt
Summary of the Position: Therapist will provide therapeutic support to children and caregivers as needed and outlined in Individualized Service Plans (ISP). Therapist will serve as YAPs primary point person on the ISP team for assisting in creating a behavior management plan for the child with the other members of the ISP team.
Knowledge of substance abuse and/or domestic violence is preferred.
Serve in Intensive In-Home Services for Cullman Guntersville Oneonta Gadsden Decatur Scottsboro and Fort Payne
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have a Valid Licensure to practice counseling in Alabama. LCSW LGSW ALC and/or LPC from a college or university.
- Masters Degree in the field of Social Work Psychology or Counseling with five (5) years of proven post-masters experience in family and childrens services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word Excel SharePoint)
- In order to perform the job successfully and the individual should have knowledge of database software spreadsheet software and word processing software.
- Reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage is required
- CPR/First Aid Certification a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish) Speaking is a plus
