This role is crucial in enhancing sexual health outcomes across Alaska. We offer comprehensive services to those exposed to or living with HIV and other STIs ensuring everyone has access to necessary care.Main duties include:
- Maintaining accurate and confidential surveillance records for STI and HIV prevention and care.
- Partnering with healthcare providers and community organizations to improve access to testing treatment and ongoing support.
- Conducting home visits for testing and support including transporting clients and engaging with unhoused individuals.

Your workspace will be located at the Fairbanks Public Health Center a vital hub for public health services across Alaskas Interior region with a dynamic and growing community just 200 miles south of the Arctic Circle. Here you can watch the northern lights dance across the sky in winter or explore rugged trails under the midnight sun in summer.Who We Are Looking For:

Special Notice:
- Requires occasional travel within the State (generally one trip ranging from 3-7 days in length potentially occurring biannually).
- Requires either experience in or willingness to learn phlebotomy skills for field testing.
- A valid drivers license will be required at the time of hire.
- We will provide training on the following:
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training
- HIPAA Training
- Venipuncture Training
- A background check may be required for this position to access the records systems.
