Job Description
Your strong organizational skills attention to detail and passion for people make you a vital part of the Human Resources team. As the HR Specialist youll play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and benefits administration.
As the HR Specialist you will:
- Support recruitment onboarding and employee relations for hourly and salaried staff
- Administer hourly benefit programs and coordinate job postings and hiring activities
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with documentation standards
- Provide administrative support and handle confidential HR correspondence
- Coordinate employee engagement events and participate in internal committees
- Triage and resolve HR-related inquiries in collaboration with internal teams
- Assist with testing and implementing HRIS system enhancements
- Communicate effectively with employees candidates and cross-functional teams
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience using HRIS systems and managing employee records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- PHR or SHRM-CP designation would be considered an asset
