British American Tobacco Italy has an exciting opportunity for a IWS Manager in Trieste.

IWS Manager role is supporting IWS journey and achievement of performance/engagement factory KPIs. He/she leads different projects/initiatives and ensure organization change management as a part of IWS implementation plan. IWS Manager also ensures all team members uphold IWS standards throughout each tool/process development and execution.

Your key responsibilities will include

Leading IWS phase journey:

  • IWS pillars preparation for phase assessment by supporting implementation of main IWS tools
  • Close cooperation with all pillar leaders and IWS teams in preparation for the phase 1 assessment also building link between the pillars for phase assessment storyline
  • Creating visual/communication package for factory IWS phase assessment
  • Preparation of Factory virtual visit/ factory intro
  • Organizing documentation needed for phase assessment auditors on-line (PDCAs videos HC access to databases)

Implementation of IWS standards in the factory:

  • Leading IWS standards improvement projects for assigned tools/processes
  • Capability building for selected IWS tools in the factory (for example UPS WPI AM step4 and others)
  • Supporting SDDS process (LA OPM give/gets sessions masterplan creation) & visuals/communication around it
  • Leading IWS paperless initiatives mainly for production departments & IWS processes (for example DDS process improvement & digitalisation)
  • Benchmarking with other factories on performance & IWS tools maturity

What are we looking for

  • University Degree or similar level gained through experience (guided by local practices)
  • Experience in manufacturing (preferably production) 3-4 years
  • Experience in managing projects
  • Experience in IWS methodology (qualification from IWS pillars)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal written adjusting to different audiences and levels shopfloor local and regional leadership)
  • Good influencing and stakeholders management skills
  • Digital fluency in existing company systems (their purposes interactions/ interfaces data flow etc)
  • Ability to quickly grasp new situations technologies and trends
